1. Iconic Viewpoints

Avenue of Stars

Located on the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, Avenue of Stars honors Hong Kong's film industry with celebrity handprints and statues, including Bruce Lee. The best time to visit is late afternoon to experience both sunset and night views. Admission is free.

Victoria Peak

Visit Sky Terrace 428, Hong Kong's highest observation deck at 428 meters. Opening hours are 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM on weekends and public holidays. Admission is HK$45 (or HK$99 combined with Peak Tram round-trip). Alternatively, the Peak Galleria Observation Deck offers free panoramic views.

Hong Kong Observation Wheel

Situated at Central Harbourfront, this 60-meter wheel features air-conditioned gondolas. Each ride lasts approximately 15 minutes, with admission starting from HK$100 for adults.

2. Cultural Experiences

Symphony of Lights

This daily light and sound show takes place at 8:00 PM and lasts for 13 minutes. Featuring over 40 buildings, the best viewing spots are Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade and Golden Bauhinia Square.

Star Ferry

Operating since 1888 and now a UNESCO-listed heritage experience, the Star Ferry runs between Tsim Sha Tsui-Central and Tsim Sha Tsui-Wan Chai every 8-20 minutes. Fares start from HK$2-3 for adults (upper deck), with operating hours from 6:30 AM - 11:30 PM.

1. New Year's Eve Celebrations

While the traditional fireworks have been canceled, the harbor will host a special countdown event:

Central Countdown at Chater Road Pedestrian Zone

Theme: "Positivity, Care, and Peace"

Features: Giant LED screens displaying public New Year wishes, "Sound Post Office" for recording audio messages

Midnight Moment: Synchronized lighting of "Peace Tree" installations across Hong Kong's skyline

2. Winter Festivities

WestK Christmas Town

Located at West Kowloon Art Park from December 12, 2025 - January 11, 2026, this festive attraction features 60 Christmas trees, a 12-meter tall centerpiece, and artificial snowfall performances. Operating hours are 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM (extended to 1:00 AM on Dec 24-26).

A Symphony of Lights Enhanced Edition

During December, enjoy additional light sequences and holiday-themed music with the show extended to 15 minutes.
